Bienvenue chez Dar Banares

Relax, let time slow down, and indulge your senses - Riad Dar Benares is a beautifully restored 400 year old home. This recently opened guesthouse was carefully restored over 2 years and furnished with the comfort of guests in mind. It has three bedrooms and two luxurious bathrooms – one of which has a giant circular copper bath - easily big enough for two (if you wish to share!), the other en-suit bathroom has an invigorating rain shower. There is superb zelige (traditional Moroccan tiling) on floors and walls, and all rooms are laid out with rugs for more softness under your feet.
There are two double bedrooms and a single – if you have a sixth member of your group then we can accommodate them in the comfortable salon. To give you an exceptionally comfortable sleep, each large bed uses an orthopedic mattress, anti allergy pillows, and are covered in the finest Egyptian cotton bed linen. For those cosy evenings, in the downstairs salon there is an open log fireplace (safety shield in place if you have small children). All bedrooms have air-conditioning for a more restful sleep if you visit in summer, and they can also be used to heat the room in the cooler months.
